Aegis Day Care provides a nurturing and supportive environment where older adults can enjoy their day surrounded by peers, enriching activities, and personalised professional attention — promoting physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
Our programme offers engaging and purposeful activities to add zest and connection to everyday life. From arts and crafts to daily exercises, festive celebrations to recreational sessions — every day brings new opportunities for joy.
We also support your loved ones with activities of daily living, including nutrition, medication reminders, and basic nursing care such as wound dressing.

Getting Started
A comprehensive visit by our care coordinator to understand your loved one's needs, health status, and daily preferences.
We recommend the package best suited to your loved one's care level and your family's schedule and budget.

Regular care reviews and family updates ensure the programme stays optimised as your loved one's needs evolve.
Day Care provides essential respite for family members and caregivers. While your loved one is engaged, stimulated, and professionally supported, you have time to work, rest, and recharge — sustainably.
Questions
We recommend a minimum of two days per week to allow your loved one to settle in, build relationships, and benefit from the structured programme. However, we can discuss flexible arrangements based on your family's needs.
Before enrolment, our care coordinator conducts a comprehensive assessment covering health status, mobility, dietary needs, and preferences. Activities and care routines are then individually adapted. For seniors with complex medical needs, we work closely with our Healthy Ageing Clinic team.
Round-trip transport within Colombo is available as an add-on at LKR 1,500 per day. Please discuss transport needs when enquiring and we will find the best solution for your family.
The Essential package suits seniors who need structured daily care and social engagement. The Specialist Plus package is designed for those with complex or progressive needs — including dementia, post-stroke recovery, falls risk, or multiple conditions — where specialist oversight and clinical coordination add significant value.
