Co-Founder's Note
We are on a mission to reimagine chronic care for our parents.
Sri Lanka has the fastest ageing population in South Asia. By 2041, one in four Sri Lankans will be over 60. Yet our healthcare system remains largely built around acute, episodic care — a system designed for injuries and infections, not for the slow, complex realities of growing older.
We saw this gap personally. Families navigating fragmented specialists. Loved ones discharged from hospital with no follow-up plan. Caregivers burning out because there was nowhere to turn for structured, continuous support. A generation of Sri Lankans who had given everything — left without the care infrastructure they deserved.
Aegis Health was built to change that. Not just as a care centre, but as an ecosystem — where specialist clinical oversight, structured daily programmes, proprietary technology and family involvement work together as one seamless experience.
This is a long-term mission. We are just getting started.
